MacBook Pro Care

- Shut down your computer every night.
- When cleaning your screen, only use a damp cloth. Do NOT use glass cleaner!
- To clean your keyboard, put the top of a ketchup container on your vacuum's hose, then you can use it to suck out small crumbs.
- Do not use paper clips or other small pieces of wire to clean any of the ports.
- Don’t leave your laptop in a car overnight, especially in the winter. Your laptop could be damaged by the cold.
- Use a dry toothbrush to clean your keyboard.
- If your laptop is really hot, place a pen under the area where the screen is attached. This will help to ventilate the bottom of your computer and cool it down.
- Never take your laptop to any technology store to get it fixed, not only do they up the prices, it voids the warranty. It will be much easier for everyone if you just take it to Mr. Thompson and have it sent in.
- Don’t eat or drink near your computer.
- Handle your computer with care, remember, you don’t own it. If your computer breaks because you are careless, then you have to pay for it.
- Never slam your computer shut, and always look before you close it. An easy way to break your screen is by closing it on a pencil.
- Never place heavy objects on you computer. It can be squished and the screen or CD drive could be damaged.
